Model: 1961 Harmony Sovereign H1203
This 1961 Harmony Sovereign H1203 came in very clean. No cracks or breaks, and very minimal wear.
This model is super lightweight. Only 3 lbs. 7 oz. with a 25” scale and a 15” 000 style body.
Moreover, the woods used here include a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Mahogany back, sides, and neck, and finally Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
This is as “high-end” as Harmony got. Therefore, the sound is full and loud, while admittedly not complex (it is ladder braced). It is great for blues, folk, etc.
Additionally, the work done for this piece included a neck reset, fret dressing, and a new bone saddle, all of which have it ready to play for another 60 years!
